Westar Aerospace and Defense Group Purchases SimAuthor
March 28, 2006 - Yankee Pacific, LLC announced today that it’s President and CEO, Kennard E. Goldsmith, Jr. resigned his position as board member of SimAuthor, Inc., Boulder, CO concurrently with the purchase of SimAuthor by Westar Aerospace and Defense Group, St. Louis, MO, on 1 March. In addition to his tenure on the SimAuthor board, Goldsmith was an investor in SimAuthor. Westar has announced it purchased SimAuthor for about $8 million and will continue the employment of the 40-person SimAuthor staff at the company’s offices in Boulder and Washington, DC.
SimAuthor specializes in flight data visualization and analysis for commercial, business aviation and military customers.
