Garrett Aviation Services, Tempe, AZ, has provided maintenance and modification services and support to corporate aircraft operators worldwide for over 50 years. Garrett Aviation was purchased from AlliedSignal, Inc. in 1994 by management, Carlisle Enterprise, LP and First Chicago Equity Capital. Yankee Pacific's founder was an equity investor and member of management, assisting initially with identifying the funding for the transaction. Garrett Aviation was acquired by General Electric in 1997. Yankee Pacific's founder remained with Garrett Aviation as Vice President - Business Development from 1994 - 2001, helping grow Garrett from $240 Million to over $500 Million a year in sales.
